Manteca Transit is offering free rides for anyone 18 and under, starting August 4! 

Whether it’s heading to school, parks, rec centers, jobs, or popular spots around town, Manteca Transit can help you get there—for free.

Free Bus Transfer Program

Travel throughout San Joaquin County with greater convenience and no additional transfer costs. The Free Bus Transfer Pilot Program allows riders to use one eligible day pass to transfer between participating transit agencies, making it easier to reach work, school, medical appointments, shopping, and other destinations across the region.

As part of this two-year pilot program, riders can travel between Manteca, Stockton, Lodi, Tracy, Ripon, Escalon, and Lathrop without purchasing separate fares for each transit system. Simply purchase an eligible day pass from RTD or another participating transit agency. If your trip includes the RTD system, request a free RTD Day Pass from the bus operator when boarding a participating local transit service. The program is designed to improve regional connectivity, simplify travel, and provide a more affordable transit experience for everyone.
